Who is Janna?

I’ve been an operator at five VC-funded startups, across industries ranging from SaaS to CPG to communication tools.

I’ve worked in many cross-functional “glue” roles responsible for creating organizational structure, shipping new products, and building out new functions.

My approach is influenced by trauma-informed training and hundreds of hours as a crisis hotline volunteer, which has shaped how I think about organizational growth.

I work with startups on short-term, high-stakes engagements like rapid scale-ups, post-layoff chaos, and regulatory scrutiny.

Are these stories real?

The experiences are real, but I keep the stories high-level and anonymized to respect confidentiality. In some cases, I blend stories from multiple workplaces when they follow a common pattern.
